When Penguin Playground children are ready to get out on the snow, so are we. Mini Stars and Super Mini Stars are staffed by Okemo instructors who work with young students in very small groups (4:1 and 2:1 respectively) to ensure your child gets the most out of each session. And, each lesson is just enough time (1.5 hours) to have fun without overdoing it.

Super Mini Stars is new this season, and offers those 3 & 4 year olds that are already veterans of the slopes the opportunity to explore more of the mountain. Super Mini Stars will ride a chairlift.

Mini Stars and Super Mini Stars lessons do not include equipment rental, so please visit the Okemo Express Rental Shop. Keep in mind that equipment for children may be limited, so be sure to secure equipment early/before check-in.

Mini Star and Super Mini Star Sessions

If your child is enrolled in Day Care, lessons are available at 9:00 am, 10:30 am and 2:00 pm.

If your child is not enrolled in Day Care, sessions are available at 9:00 am, 10:30 am, 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm. Children will meet at the Galaxy Bowl, located near the Snow Stars Center at the Okemo Clocktower base area, or the Bright Star Basin at Jackson Gore.

Reservation Information

• Advanced reservations are required. Call (802) 228-1600 for more information.

• Reservations are charged in full when booked and are non-refundable. Any change or cancellation requested within 2 days of the lesson date will be charged a fee of 20% of each reservation. Cancellations on the day of will result in a full forfeiture. All balances are good at Okemo for 1 calendar year and can be used around the resort except for culinary and lodging.
